Six Mountain West Men's Teams Among Top 55

In the current NET rankings, the Mountain West has six programs among the top 55: San Diego State (20), New Mexico (24), Colorado State (27), Utah State (28), Boise State (50) and Nevada (55). These six teams are a combined 91-21 on the season.

  • The Mountain West is one of four conferences (Big 12, 6; Big Ten, 4; MW, 4; SEC, 4) with four or more teams ranked among the top 30 of the current NET rankings.

  • The Mountain West is 104-38 (.732) in nonconference action in 2023-24, the fourth-best nonconference record among the 32 conferences. The MW has had a nonconference winning percentage of .600 or better in each of the last four seasons.

  • The Mountain West is the only conference that has five teams with 15 or more wins.
