Cowgirl Volleyball Opens Spring Schedule With Busy Saturday

LARAMIE (April 5, 2024) — The Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team opens it’s four-date, six match 2024 vollyeball slate with a trip to Greely, Colorado for a pair of matches Saturday.

The Cowgirls, in their second spring under Head Coach Kaylee Prigge, will fact Northern Colorado at 11 a.m., Saturday before taking on Colorado State at 1 p.m., in a neutral matchups. Wyoming will be at home twice this spring as well. The Cowgirls host Regis at 1 pm., April 13, and Metropolitan State University Denver at noon April 27. Both home matches are open to the public. They will be held inside the UniWyo Sports Complex.

Wyoming has been in its offseason training regiment for much of the second semester. The Cowgirls return Kasia Partyka and Rylee Schulz, a pair of All-Mountain West honorees. Schulz and Sierra Grizzle were also selected to the Mountain West’s Global Challenge Team, which will travel to Europe in July.

US is coming off a 22-10 season in 2023, and a trip to the NIVC Tournament. The past fall marked the first time since 2019 that the Cowgirls won at least 20 matches and made a postseason trip.

April 6 at Norhtern Colorado, 11 a.m.

April 6 vs. Colorado State, 1 p.m.

April 13 vs. Regis, 1 p.m. at home.

April 20 at Colorado State, Noon

April 20 at Colorado, 2 p.m.

April 27 vs. Metropolitan State University Denver, Noon at home
