Cowboy Men And Women Golf Each Add Additional Student Athlete

LARAMIE, Wyo.  (March 28, 2024) – The Wyoming golf program announced the addition of two student-athletes to the program for the 2024-25 season on Thursday. Brody Leid will join Cowboys and Caroline Ryan joining the Cowgirls.

 

Leid is from Phoenix, Ariz., but was born in Denver, Colo. He is a four-time letterwinner at Corona Del Sol High School. He was an All-City selection in 2023 and was also named team captain. He earned All-tournament accolades in three events during the 2023 season.

 

He owns a school record with rounds of 65 and 64 for -12. He earned one win and four top-five finishes in the summer season in 2023. He also earned a third-place finish in the AJGA Jim Click Automatic.

 

Ryan, a native of Aurora, Colo. is the sister of current Cowgirl Morgan Ryan. She was a four-time letterwinner in golf a Grandview High School. She is a second team all-state performer and earned All-city and All-League honors as well. She was also named Team MVP in 2022 and 2023. An excellent field hockey player, Ryan is an All-State honorable mention performer and played in the Colorado All-Star Game.

 

She qualified for the 2022 Optimist Junior International Golf Tournament in 2002. She also was runner-up at the 2023 Wyoming Junior State Amateur. She was an Academic All-State selection in 2022-23.
