Cowboy Golfers Close Regular Season At Tiger Invitational Monday/Tuesday

LARAMIE, Wyo.  (April 6, 2024) – The Wyoming Cowboy golfers wrap up the regular season on Monday and Tuesday at the Tiger Collegiate Invitational in Columbia, Mo. The event will be played at The Club at Old Hawthorne, as Missouri is the host of the event.

 

The Cowboys are coming off hosting the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Ariz. The Poke finished the event in 21st place in the 23-team field.

 

Jimmy Dales was Wyoming’s top finisher in a tie for 77th place at 220 (+4) he shot a 76 (+4) on Tuesday and had even par rounds in the opening two rounds.

 

Wyoming as a team this season has shot 17 rounds under 70 this season with six different golfers doing so. Kristof Panke shot a 68 (-4) for the final round at the Cowboy Classic. Jaren Calkins shot a 70 (-2), which was the second lowest round by a Cowboy.

 

The Pokes will next compete at the Mountain West Championship in Tucson, Ariz. from April 26-28.
